Setting up your team

A team account lets one organization buy course access in bulk, hand it out to staff, assign required training, and pull completion records for audits. This article walks through creating the team. Once it exists, the rest of this collection covers running it day to day.

Create your team

1. Go to the Team Registration page and choose roughly how many seats you expect to need. You can change this later, so an estimate is fine.
2. Click Get Started under your desired seat type, then enter your team name and the email address that should receive invoices and team administration email.
3. Click Next. You will land on your Settings & Account page, which is the home screen for team administration. Our Your team Settings & Account page article covers everything on it.
4. Your team starts in a trial period. To activate it, purchase at least three seats. Three is the minimum for any team.
5. Pay the seat invoice. Once payment clears, your seats are live and ready to hand out.
6. That is it. You are ready to add people on the Members tab. See Inviting people to your team for the step by step.

Note: Pricing is tiered, so the per seat rate drops as team size goes up. Check the Team Registration page for current Spark and Ignite pricing.

What to do next

Most new team owners work through these in order:

1. Add an Admin or two so you are not the only person who can manage the team. See Team roles and permissions.
2. Invite your staff. See Inviting people to your team.
3. Assign any training everyone has to complete. See Assigning courses to your team.

Deleting a team

Team deletion is handled by our support staff, not from the team admin screens. Even the Team Owner cannot delete a team directly. Contact us using any of the methods below and we will take care of it.
